The College Farm was formed as a result of the transformation of the College into a parastatal organization in 1991.
Poultry demonstration unit include 500 layers in cages and 16 000 broilers (annually). The birds are accommodated in open sided buildings. The Farm runs its own slaughterhouse. Additional 27 000 broilers are reared by students under Student Enterprise Project. A small incubator is used for demonstration of artificial incubation and hatching. Different types of poultry is hatched, this include double purpose chicken, guinea fowls and ducks.
Donkey and Horses
The college has donkeys and will shortly introduce horses.for experimental purposes
There are also guinea fowls in the college. These are for Research project and the farm looks after them.
