Following the introduction of the Food Science and Technology Department in Botswana College of Agriculture, it became apparent that the department needs to establish working relationship with its stake holders in order to fully achieve its mandate. To create awareness of the new Department, the department organised a half-day stakeholder workshop on the 18th of October 2011 at Botswana College of Agriculture.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP WAS TO CREATE EXISTENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Create awareness of the Botswana College of Agriculture’s Food Science and Technology department locally
Potential research collaborations with stake holders
To share with our stakeholder’s services the department can offer them.
